The Nurse Associatin of Thailand has the full official English name as "The Nurses' Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother" with the abbreviation of "NAT" The organizational objectives include:

1. Strive to be the center for accumulating opinions and exchanging professional nursing knowledge
   
2. Foster the unity, morality, virtues and ethics among its members
   
3. Promote the professional advancement though professional standards development, research and knowledge dissemination
   
4. Sustain equity and promote welfare for its members
   
5. Prevent and solve any kinds of obstacle on professional advancement
   
6. Facilitate in promoting and sustaining social welfare, public health and well-being
   
7. Be the delegates on behalf of its members in collaborating with public and private organizations nationally and internationally
